This vegan chocolate mug cake is the perfect single serve dessert. It is my go to sweet snack for nights I just want a little something. It all comes together in about 5 minutes and it doesn’t take a ton of dishes.
You can make this cake in a mug, ramekin, or small bowl. Just make sure it is microwave safe. The cake will rise in the microwave so make sure it has some room to grow.Once you select your personal cake vessel, spray the inside with non-stick spray.
To make this mug cake, I mix together the dry ingredients in a bowl, then add in the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Then pour the batter into the greased mug.
Place it in the microwave for 1:30-2 minutes. When you take it out of the microwave it will be pretty hot so try to wait a couple of minutes if you can.
You can eat this as is or you can add fruit or nuts on top to make it extra fancy.
Make it Vegan: Use a plant based milk instead or dairy milk
