Sometimes I just need a little something sweet to get me through the day. I have been trying to reduce my sugar intake so having a tub of ice cream around hasn’t been happening. I found a way to solve my sweet problem with something healthy and easy.
How much does this make?
This makes enough for one serving. You can easily double it if you want to make more.
Can I save it for later?
This is best served right after making it. It doesn’t store super well. Since it comes together quickly I don’t think you will need to store it. If you do, just make sure to keep it covered and in the freezer.
Substitutions
You can use any type of milk you have, I have only used almond milk and that works great for me. If you want it to be sweeter, double the about of syrup. If you want to add some protein, sub your cocoa powder with a chocolate protein powder. There are many alterations you can make to this recipe to create the perfect dessert for you.
