The best way to have brussel sprout is when they are nice and crispy with some type of sauce. I love this recipe because you can throw everything in the air fryer and the sauce if super simple.
How to prep brussels sprouts?
Before air frying brussel sprouts you want to trim off the ends and remove any browned or dead leaves. Then you want to cut them in half, root to top. Cutting them in half gives you more surface area to crisp up. It also helps them cook a lot faster.
How to air fry brussel sprouts?
To air fryer brussel sprouts, add them to a bowl and toss with the olive oil, salt, and garlic. Then add the mixture to the air fryer basket and cook at 400° F for 13-15 minutes. Take out the sprouts around the 7 minute mark and toss them so they get browned on all sides.
If you want to double this recipe, cook the brussel sprouts in 2 batches. If you load too many in the air fryer they will have a hard time crisping up.
What to serve with brussel sprouts?
